About Nick Oceanak

Nick Oceanak grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he developed a strong passion for big game hunting. His father is Craig Oceanak, founder of Timberline Outfitters, and he ensured that Nick grew up to become an avid outdoorsman. He’s a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Safari Club International, and an NRA lifetime member.

Nick has been a professional guide for Timberline Outfitters since 2001. He currently guides for antelope, mule deer, whitetail deer, elk, black bear, and turkey hunts in Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, and Iowa. During the Summer, Nick organizes prairie dog hunts. These hunts are great opportunities for both novice and skilled marksmen to practice their target shooting.

Nick Oceanak Timberline Outfitters Big Game Hunting

Nick is an avid bow hunter and a rifle hunter. He has hunted all over the United States and taken a variety of big game; two of his most prized trophies are a Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep and a mountain goat, both taken in Wyoming.

Nick received his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Wyoming, where he also played soccer. In addition to hunting, Nick is passionate about traveling. He has lived abroad—in Australia—and he also lived in Hollywood while he attended the Musician’s Institute. There, Nick completed the Institute’s Independent Artist Graduate Program. He continues to write and produce music in his own recording studio in Laramie, where he currently resides.

In addition to his other interests and talents, Nick and his partner, Natalia, own and operate Abundance Creative Arts and Child Care Center. They live in Laramie with their three children, Gabriel, Tavis, and Charmaine. Gabriel and Tavish have grown to enjoy hunting and being outdoors just like their father and grandfather.

When Nick isn’t spending time with his family, making music, guiding, or hunting for himself: you might find him on the ski slopes, the soccer field or the golf course. He is a family man, an athlete and outdoorsman through and through with great love for the Cowboy State of Wyoming. Nick believes in the enjoyment of life from all aspects and hopes to continue on the path that he has already lain.
